How to Recycle

Aluminum Cans: Clean, dry and flatten
Tin Cans: Rinse clean, cut out both ends and flatten, if possible
Glass Bottles and Jars: Remove caps and rings, rinse clean, labels can stay on, no blue containers
Plastic Bottles: Recycle only #1 and #2 plastic bottles with a neck (milk jugs, laundry containers, etc.) Remove caps and rings, rinse clean.
Newspapers: May be bundled or put into a paper grocery bag. General rule is that if it comes with the newspaper it can be recycled with the newspaper. Most haulers also accept other kinds of papers such as telephone books, magazines, junk mail and catalogs. All paper must be dry and clean.
Corrugated Cardboard
(wavy middle):
Flatten or cut cardboard to no larger than 3 foot by 3 foot. Do NOT save wax-coated boxes. Flattened cereal boxes, beer or pop cartons should be included in with newspapers.
