Sheltered Workshop:
Our goal is to provide our disabled population with work opportunities within our center and in the surrounding communities. PCADC provides transportation to our workshop and to our community worksites. Our disabled population provides janitorial and other services within our community and surrounding communities. Day Services:
The goal of the PCADC Day Service Program is to provide purposeful activities and to emphasize and promote personal growth in the areas of activities of daily living, adult education, along with continuity in a scheduled day to improve or maintain their current level of functioning in a variety of tasks.
The Day Service Program will provide it’s participants with a scheduled day of learning activities in conjunction with some work production opportunities. It is designed to increase a person’s abilities in the areas of socialization, community interaction, prevocational skills, therapeutic activities, and daily living skills. Daily living skills may include, but are not limited to; laundry, food prep, cleaning, and personal cares. These functional skills can be taught or maintained in a variety of ways throughout our Center.
