New information regarding Child Support payments.
Later this year, the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund (WI SCTF) will stop sending paper checks. You can choose one of two payment methods: Direct Deposit, or, Child Support Visa Debit (check) Card. Starting in September 2007, WI SCTF will begin to send Visa debit cards to a few people who receive support payments (child support, alimony (maintenance) and family support).
There will be a 3 – 6 month rollout. By early next year, if you do not use direct deposit, you will get a debit card.
- Safer than Paper Checks
- No Trips to the Bank or Waiting in Long Lines
- Avoid Check Cashing Fees
- Monthly Statements Showing Your Support Payments & Purchases
Please note: WI SCTF cannot send you a debit card if we do not have your current address and your Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). Please contact our agency to update your information.
