Mental Health/Chemical Dependency Services
If you or someone you know is experiencing an emergency mental health crisis:

To talk with a crisis counselor (24 hours/day, 7 days/week) to help connect you with the services and resources you need. After hours, weekends, and holidays, the calls are directed through the 911 emergency system.
The Polk County Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Services unit also provides:
- Outpatient mental health counseling
- Community support programming for the severe and persistently mentally ill
- Mental health case management for individuals under commitment
- Psychiatric medication management
- Substance abuse evaluations and treatment, including OWI offenders
- General information
- Referrals
Most insurances and Wisconsin Medical Assistance/BadgerCare are accepted. Payment arrangements are provided, including an ability-to-pay program.
