Testamentary Trust Termination

The Last Will and Testament of a decedent governs when a testamentary trust is to be terminated.  When it is determined that the testamentary trust can be terminated, please use the guideline available below. The guideline explains the steps to take in terminating the testamentary trust, lists the forms required, and provides general information to the trustee.

Along with the forms listed in the guideline, the Trustee must file a Final Trustee Account.  The Final Trustee Account will be provided at the request of the Trustee, or a blank form can be found online www.wicourts.gov, under forms, circuit court, Form PR-1937.  Certain other documents are required as shown on the guideline and can be obtained online or requested from the Probate Office.  Please note certain documents are district forms and not available online.
