The Polk County Department of Land Information is a combination of the Zoning, Planning, GIS and Surveyor functions of the County. The Polk County Land Information Department is dedicated to upgrading and maintaining modernized land information records for the benefit of the citizens of Polk County. These records include but are not limited to digital parcel maps, zoning maps, survey records, aerial orthophotography, street maps, address maps, section corner records, zoning permits, and septic system records.

The Polk County Department of Land Information is committed to provide high quality service to the general public as well as other county departments in the areas of zoning, surveying, and land information. We will develop and maintain the county-wide GIS system and support all other county departments using GIS.
