As director of LWRD, Tim not only oversees all department management, but is in charge of staff and policy development, as well as the liason between LWRD and the governing agencies.
Residing in Amery, Tim has been with Polk County LWRD for over 23 years, starting his position as Engineer Technician.

Katelin is the Information and Education Coordinator/Water Quality Specialists for the LWRD Department. She coordinates the water quality education and information activities for the department and solicits and administers grants for water quality improvement.
Katelin grew up on a small farm in rural Polk County. She completed her undergraduate degree from the U of W - Eau Claire in 2007, graduating with a degree in biology with an emphasis in environmental science. While pursing this degree she had the opportunity to intern with Polk County LWRD for two summers. Katelin graduated from the U of W - Madison with a Masters in Agroecology.

Peter is the Engineering Technician for the Land and Water Resources Department. He not only assists in developing cost estimates and design practices for construction projects, but assists with the the implemenation of the Storm Water Management Erosion Control Ordinance.
Peter is also responsible for the implementation of the Nonmetallic Mining Ordinance for Polk County.

Scott is our Environmental Engineer. He provides technical assistance in the development of soil and water conservation practices for agricultural and land development projects. He reviews and inspects applications for the Stormwater and Erosion control and Manure & Water Quality Management ordinances. He also provides engineering services for other County departments, lake management districts, Burnett County and other local agencies covering a variety of municipal and civil engineering topics.
Scott joined our staff in May of 2008. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State and brings 25 years of Civil Engineering experience to the department. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in WI and MN and has worked also in Iowa and Illinois as an engineering consultant, a general contractor, and for a state highway department.

Jeremy Williamson

Jeremy is the Water Quality Specialist and Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator for LWRD. Jeremy assists lake groups and state and federal agencies acquire chemical and biological data on Polk County lakes in order to better manage them. Jeremy also assists groups and agencies with aquatic macrophyte surveys and aquatic plant management plans. Besides scientific studies and lake management, Jeremy reviews and approves designs for habitat restoration and infiltration projects.
Hailing from Amery, Jeremy served as the LWRD summer intern in 1999 and became the Water Quality Specialist in 2001. He completed an undergraduate degree in Biology from the U of W-Eau Claire in 1999, a professional certificate in Watershed Management from Michigan State in 2003, and is currently enrolled as a graduate student at the Univ. of Minn. with the ultimate goal of receiving a PhD in Water Resources Sciences. |
Eric Wojchik is a graduate of the U of W - River Falls with a B.S. in Conservation Resource Management and a minor in Biology. With 10 years of experience with Polk County LWRD, Eric is responsible for identifying and planning the installation of various conservation Best Management Practices (BMPs) on agricultural operations. Eric also is responsible for administering the Farmland Preservation Program in Polk County as well as administering the Polk County Animal Waste ordinance. As a Wisconsin Certified Crop Adviser (CCA), Eric is qualified to write and review Nutrient Management and Pest Management plans for agricultural producers.
In addition to his agricultural community responsibilities, Eric assists with Aquatic & Terrestrial invasive species monitoring and control. With his extensive field experience, he is able to identify various invasive species and make recommendations as to the most effective management strategies towards their control. |

As Data Manager, Patti is responsible for Nonmetallic Mining and Stormwater/Erosion Control ordinance files. She also tracks and updates project files, maintains all landowner files and mailing lists. In addition to fiscal responsibilities (budgets and accounts payables), she updates and manages LWRD's web page.
Patti grew up in rural Barron County. After obtaining her BBA in Business Administration from UW - Eau Claire, she worked in the twin cities for many years. Before transferring to the LWRD office in March of 2011, Patti worked for Polk County in the UW Extension Office for 24 years. |
