DNR Safety/Education Classes

These are Wisconsin DNR approved safety/education classes sponsored and put on by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. If you have further questions, contact Deputy Jeff Hahn at email jeffrey.hahn@co.polk.wi.us .

The cost of the below listed classes is $10.00 per student, per class, with checks made payable to Wisconsin DNR.

Pre-registration by email is preferred (so the proper amount of materials/instructors can be arranged for) and payment can be made on the first day of class.

Parents or guardians are encouraged to attend the first 15 minutes of the first class as an adult signature is required on enrollment forms.

Snowmobile Safety

This will be for a Wisconsin Certified Snowmobile Safety Class.  All materials will be provided.

Boating Safety

This will be for a Wisconsin Certified Boaters Safety Class.  All materials will be provided. Students will have the opportunity to operate a boat with an instructor after the written test weather permitting.

Amery Middle School, Amery. May 9th and 10th from 6PM to 8PM and on Saturday May 11th from 1PM – 3PM.

ATV Safety

This will be for a Wisconsin Certified ATV Safety Class.  All materials will be provided.
