Alternate ways to Deposit money to an imates account...
The Polk County Jail offers family members and friends an alternative way to put money into an inmate’s commissary account. This can be done using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) from a remote location, using either a telephone or an internet-equipped computer. On-line users can go to the following link:

Those wishing to use a telephone can call (888) 277-2535. Either can be accessed 24 hours a day.
To process the transaction you will need to know the following:
- Pay Location Code: 5500
- Inmate Name:
- Inmate Number:
- Facility Code: OEO
This service is offered by Government Payment Express. There is a minimum deposit of $25, a maximum of $100. A service fee of 5% of the deposit (minimum of $2.50 per transaction) will be charged. This is a fee charged by the service company, with none of the proceeds going to the Jail. The charge will show up as payment to "Swanson Services."
