The Polk County Jail offers family members and friends an alternative way to put money into an inmate’s commissary account. This can be done using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) from a remote location, using either a telephone or an internet-equipped computer. Those wishing to use a telephone can call (888) 277-2535. Either can be accessed 24 hours a day.
To process the transaction you will need to know the following:
- Pay Location Code: 5500
- Inmate Name:
- Inmate Number:
- Facility Code: OEO
This service is offered by Government Payment Express. There is a minimum deposit of $25, a maximum of $100. A service fee of 5% of the deposit (minimum of $2.50 per transaction) will be charged. This is a fee charged by the service company, with none of the proceeds going to the Jail. The charge will show up as payment to "Swanson Services."
